Welcome to our Nursery page!

Our nursery unit consists of one full-time class (9am to 1.30pm) of 26 children. It is staffed by a nursery teacher (Ms McMahon) and nursery assistant (Mrs McAdam).

As a full-time nursery, the children are provided with healthy snack, and either bring their own lunch or receive a freshly cooked dinner from our on-site kitchen every day.

The nursery children have access to all the school facilities, including the hall, the grass pitch, as well as our very own nursery playground.

MS McMahon has an OCN NI Level 3 Leadership in Forest School qualification and leads forest school activities once a week for the nursery children where they get to explore our outdoor areas in the rest of the school.

We have lots of visitors to nursery. We try and have something special at least once a month, such as Blackberry Farm and Mr Hullabaloo: 

We get to know the dinner ladies well. They deliver dinner to our classroom, and they put our baking items in the oven, such as our gingerbread men:
