Primary 4 took part in a STEM event, learning about the history of space travel. The children made their own mini paper rockets. This allowed them to modify their own designs so they could work as a team to build their own stomp rocket. They learned how to be a good scientist and that making mistakes is an important part of learning

Primary 6 took part in a STEM workshop provided by ‘Go Fly Your Kite’. They learned about the science and technology of flight, discovering how things fly and tried some experiments. All the children designed their own kite and learned how to fly it.
