In Primary 1 our teachers are called Mrs Gray and Mrs Rooney. We have one classroom assistant called Mrs Henderson and don't forget Mrs Marshall and Margaret who help us every day too. Life is busy in Primary One with lots of fun things to do. We learn to read, write and count. We make lots of new friends and we look after each other.

We don't just stay in our classrooms every day. We take turns to visit the school playroom, we visit the school library and we go to the PE hall. Now that we are in the big school we get to take part in school assemblies.

It is great fun, not at all scary. We also love playing outside. Did you know that Primary 1 children are the fastest runners in the school? We love playing with the outside games.

This year we will all go to Streamvale farm on our class trip in June. This will be an exciting end to our first busy and fun year in St. Aloysius Primary School.
