The Dissolving Boundaries scheme began in 1999. The project uses Information and Communications Technology to link teachers and pupils in primary, post primary and special schools in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland

The Aim of the Dissolving Boundaries project is for schools to engage in colloborative, curricular projects using computer conferencing and video conferencing.

As St. Aloysious Primary School has a high level of expertise in ICT, we were nominated to participate in this excellent project.

We have developed relationships with other schools along the way. And at the end of the project, the pupils will journey down to meet their new friends whom they have been video conferencing with!
